Today HFL joins the world in commemorating the 30th anniversary of World AIDS Day that began in 1988 as a way of raising awareness of the AIDS pandemic.
While there’s no cure for HIV, major strides have been made in slowing the progression of the disease and today, a positive HIV diagnosis is no longer an instant death sentence. HIV is being successfully treated with antiretroviral therapy (ART).
Help us show support for those living with HIV, pay homage to those who have died and pray for a cure. Thank you.
